I think I'll keep 'em
We had fun doing a little photo shoot the other day. I wanted some close up pics of the kids to blow up and put on our wall. Call me cheep, call me a go getter or A do- it-yourselfer, but why pay someone when you can do it yourself? I think they turned out fantastic and it's always fun with the post processing.
Here are my sweeties:

Thurston the Sweetie pie
We found out that Aleah does not travel long distances very well. The first trip when it was just me and the kids was very hard because there was nothing I could do, but let her cry it out. This last trip was a little better, but on the way home she started screaming again. This is a video of her loving brother soothing her with a song. As you notice, she is not crying anymore. She loves her brothers! So sweet! :)

Luau
One of our first activities at the reunion, was our birthday Luau Bash. We decided to throw a joint b-day party for all the kiddos. It was a lot of fun, Preston made some yummy BBQ Pork an we may have out done ourselves with the purchase of 15 lbs of macaroni salad, but we had fun!
The dogs joined the fun with their own festive shirts. This is my parents dog, Scooter (peanuts brother).:

Aleah and Elliott
Aleah and Elliott are betrothed. It's been decided, and we are happy that they are starting to get along so well. ;)
Splash Park
I'm slowly catching up here! When Heather and Clint were here, we went to Settlers Park, which is an awesome mix of a splash park, and just a right out awesome play park. Add a little picnic, and you have a fantastic time... all for free! :)
I didn't get any pictures of the event, but Clint had his 30th birthday while they were here, and we celebrated at Chuck E Cheese. The kids had a blast, but I'm pretty sure he had a spanking good time too.

Garden Tea Party
We recently had the pleasure of having Heather, Clint and their little girls Addy and Kennedy (and Peanut the Dog) up for a visit. With the girls being girls, I felt it my Auntie duty to host a Tea Party in the Garden. Addy, without hesitation, dressed up for the occasion. Kennedy had dressed up for about 30 seconds, Joseph said 'no way', and Thurston was distraught when he failed to find his Pablo Backyardigans costume, so he just went as himself. I have to say that Little Debbie snacks are a perfect fit for the youngster tea party. The weather was absolutely perfect, sandwiches and cakes delicious, fun was had by all. :)
We had many more adventures including a splash park, 30 yr old birthday party at chuck e cheese and an incident at Kickboxing resulting in crutches. But that's for another post. I'm hungry and feel a need for a snack. Till then.
